Scenic Countryside Nature Walk (Half day)
We visit a rural community with intriguing flora, fruit trees, (native and exotic), farm lands birding and deep cultural and historic roots, stretching back to the Amerindian and sugar cane plantation era. With its beautiful range of hills and mountains rising to nearly 2400 you’re almost guaranteed to see a crown of clouds during the rainy season (June – November).
The sporadic light showers throughout the year keep the community of Babonneau ever green.
We walk from Chassin to Marguis estate. Visiting Fond La Ti Sab to experience the making of cassava bread and some traditional dancing. We pull our socks up and then hit the road, at a pace suitable to all as we enjoy sightings of Boguis and Marquis Sugar mills.
