About St. Lucia Birding & Wildlife Ambassadors
Rooted in Saint Lucia.
Guided by Experience.
Locally guided wildlife and nature experiences shaped by decades of forestry, conservation and field knowledge. We help visitors understand Saint Lucia through its landscapes, communities and natural heritage.
Built from a lifelong connection to Saint Lucia
St. Lucia Birding & Wildlife Ambassadors was created to meet the growing need for knowledgeable, professional and specialised nature guides on the island.
Our roots reach back to communities beside Saint Lucia's forests, where birds, plants and wildlife were part of everyday life. That early connection developed into decades of work in forestry, conservation, research, environmental education and tour guiding.
Today, we use that experience to offer more than a standard sightseeing excursion. Guests discover the island through the people who know its trails, habitats and stories, with space to ask questions, observe carefully and travel at a comfortable pace.
Knowledge shared with purpose
Every experience is shaped by four commitments that keep the tours personal, informative and respectful.
Local insight
We connect landscapes and wildlife with Saint Lucia's communities, history and culture.
Meaningful interpretation
We explain what guests are seeing and why the habitat, behaviour and location matter.
Personal attention
Small groups allow us to adapt the route, pace and level of detail to each guest.
Responsible travel
We observe wildlife carefully and encourage respect for habitats, communities and wild places.
Led by Adams Toussaint
The company is led by Adams Toussaint, a conservationist, author, specialist guide and former Chief Forestry Officer of Saint Lucia. His career began with the Forestry Department in 1980 and developed through senior leadership, research, environmental education and the management of the island's natural resources.
That professional background gives the tours unusual depth. Guests are not simply shown a location or told the name of a species. They receive context about habitats, behaviour, conservation, history and the relationship between people and the environment.

Our connection to Saint Lucia
The island is more than the backdrop
Our guides understand the routes, communities and landscapes because they are part of the places we explore. A tour may begin with wildlife, but it also opens a window into Saint Lucia's history, culture and relationship with the natural environment.
